FINANCIAL SECURITY & PERSONAL PRIVACY
Dr. WG Hill stated and coined the "Five Flag" strategy- where one would split their affairs so they "reside" in five different national jurisdictions.
Flag 1: Business Base
These are places that one can make money. It must be different than your personal fiscal domicile.(the place where you legally reside)

Flag 2: Passport & Citizenship
These should be from a country unconcerned about offshore citizens and what they do outside their borders.

Flag 3: Domicile
This should be a tax haven with good communications. A place where wealthy, productive people can be creative, live, relax, prosper and enjoy themselves. Such a place should not be threatened by war or revolution and preferably should enjoy good levels of banking secrecy.

Flag 4: Asset Repository
This should be a place from which assets, securities and business affairs can be managed anonymously by proxy.

Flag 5: Playgrounds
These are the places that one would actually spend their time.
INTERNET AND COMPUTER SECURITY
Everyday, all over the world, computer networks and hosts are being broken into. The level of sophistication of these attacks varies widely; while it is generally believed that most break-ins succeed due to weak passwords, there are still a large number of intrusions that use more advanced techniques to break in. Less is known about the latter types of break-ins, because by their very nature they are hard to detect. (written by D. Farmer & W. Venema , from "Improving your site by breaking into it.")
BANKING ALTERNATIVES & TAX HAVENS

In practice one should have two or three favorite places to live- moving in and out of these places at the required time. Most countries will allow one to stay 6-12 months (with extensions) on a tourist visa. When your time is up, one would simply move to your "other" home.
